(request) A Day Out - EnglandxReader

You walked into the bakery, it was known as the best Bakery in England! The smell of fresh baked pastries filled your nose, the faint smell of tea mixed in. You were here to meet Arthur.
You and Arthur have been friends for as long as you can remember, he's been there for you always. You always have had a crush on him, but were scared he didn't return the deep feelings.
"___! Over here!" You looked up to see your British friend waving you over. You smiled and joined the Brit at his table. There was two cups of tea, hot and steaming.
"Artie, did you just order?" You asked and he nodded.
"I knew you were running late, so I ordered just a little bit ago" He said and flashed you a smile. A smile only you saw.
"W-Well... I asked you to meet me here so we could spend the day together!" He said and he seemed, flustered. His cheeks a cute pink color.
"Course, Artie!" You beamed and he relaxed and sipped his tea. The waiter walked over. He saw you and smiled to himself.

"Hello there~! Do you both know what you'd like to eat for today?" He took Arthur's order of fish and chips then turned to you.
"now, what could I get you, love~?" He sent a charming smile your way and Arthur glared daggers at him.
"I'll just take a piece of cake" You said and smiled back.
"Great choice, ma'am!" He said. You were getting a bit annoyed with his flirting. Arthur was trying hard not to punch the waiter.
"That was annoying...." You muttered to Arthur as the waiter disappeared from sight. Arthur chuckled and smiled.
"Well love, it's hard not to flirt with beautiful women" Arthur commented, making you blush. You knew he was probably just teasing you.  But he truly meant it, you were more beautiful than an angel to him.
Then the waiter came back and set the food down. Then more flirting along with the man....
You ignored the man and you ate your cake. Arthur ate his fish and chips, mentally cursing at the man. He just wanted to knock him unconscious. You finished your cake and sighed.

"I'm sorry but can we get the check now, please?" You said, interrupting the man. He stood silent for a few seconds then went to get the check. You sighed and rubbed your face.
"You ok, love?" Arthur asked. You looked up at him, a look filled with concern filled his eyes. You smiled and nodded. Then the smile slipped as the waiter returned. He handed you the bill and smiled.
"Well ma'am you have a wonderful day~ Come back soon~" He said and winked at you. As he walked away you groaned.
"Love, I'll pay." Arthur said. You looked at him, he had a pleading look.
"Fine... Your such a gentlemen..." You sighed and he smiled. He put the money in the black folder and you got up. It was pouring outside!! He smirked and waved an umbrella in front of my face. I smiled and we walked out. He opened the umbrella up and held it above you. You laced your fingers with his and watched the blush rocket across his face.
"Where to first?" You said and smiled up at him, your eyes gleaming.

You sat in the boat as Arthur rowed on the calm lake. Your eyes looking around you, the sun setting behind you.
"Today has seemed like a fairytale~" You said dreamily. He smiled happily and relaxed. You two were sitting in the middle of the lake now.
Quack.
You looked to the side of you and saw ducklings. You smiled and reached down and tried to pet one. But the mother came over and bit you.
"Ow!" You yelled and shook your hand. Athur scooted closer and looked at your hand.
"You shouldn't mess with a mother's kids you know... Women can be very scary at times!" He joked and you couldn't help but laugh. You looked over the edge of the water and smiled.
"The water's so pretty..." You mumbled and he smiled.
"Not as pretty as you ___" Arthur said and you looked at him. You smiled and looked back at the water, trying to hide your blush.
"I'm sorry that was wrong..." Your heart sank and you sighed.
"Your gorgeous" Your face went a bright red. You looked at him shocked to see him looking at you, just as red.
"You think so?" He nodded and placed one hand on your cheek.
"Of course! I love your (e/c) eyes, that seem to always shine. I love your (h/l) (h/c) that always seems so perfect. And most of all, I love you ___." He whispered and leaned close to you. This shocked you a bit and you jolted up, upsetting the boat.

"Iggy!" You screech as you lose your balance and fall into the water. Your lungs filled with water as you lost all sense of up and down. You heard a loud 'BOOM' sound and slowly closed your eyes.

"___! ___!!" As you jolted up, spitting out water. England was looking at you, tears in his eyes and he was shaking. To be honest you felt like shit. He hugged you suddenly, and you spat up the rest of the water as he let go.
"y-your ok...!" he said and smiled. You sighed and wiped away a tear that slid down his face.
"Course I'm ok" you whispered softly. He smiled and he kissed you. The faint taste of tea on his lips. His kiss was gently but loving. He wrapped his arms around your soaking wet waist and you wrapped your arms around his neck.
Your mind fogged up with just the thought of the kiss. You then pulled back, trying to get the air back into your lungs. You looked into his deep emerald green eyes and he looked into your (e/c) eyes. He gets up, wrapping his dry jacket around you as you start to shiver.

"want to go home now, love?" you blushed and looked down as he called you love. You nodded and he helped you to your feet, smiling at you.
"Would you do me the honors of being my beautiful girlfriend?" Arthur asked and you went an even darker shade of red.
"Of course!!" You giggled and hugged him tightly. His lips smashed to yours as it was made official. You never thought your best friend, would become your boyfriend.
