(Name) stared out her window, looking at the lava heated world that had become her prison. She glanced at the crying Ghast that flew past, giving her a glance and a wave of one of its tentacles. She smiled gently at the sad creature. The mobs no longer were hostile towards her, but instead were friendly. All because of him. It was a ‘gift’ he said. He wanted to make her happy, like she had been with Steve. But all she did was smile sadly at him.

“What do you need?” The (h/c) haired girl looked back at Drew, a smile plastered to his coal black skull. “Ah~ Nothing~ The master only asked me to check up on you!” The wither skeleton giggled as it bowed towards her. She sighed in annoyance, her eyes closing as she leaned against the abnormally cold glass of the window. “Miss?” (Name) opened her eyes to look at the towering figure. “Yes Drew?” The wider skeleton sat beside her and hung its head. “Just try to get along, for your own benefit.” With that the skeleton walked out, leaving (Name) confused.

She looked around in confusion as she heard ringing. Her eyes narrowed as she looked for the source. Her eyes squeezed shut as the ringing grew in pitch, making her head hurt. “D-Drew…!” She whimpered, her head felt as though it would split open and as the door slammed open. She cried out in pain as the loud noise hit her ears, making everything go black. Right as something grabbed her arm.

“Papa!” The little girl giggled, climbing onto her father’s arm. Her cream colored dress flowed around her shins, the pink embroidery gleaming gently in the sun. “Lift me! Lift me!” The girl chanted as her father laughed. He released his arm from her small grip and slid his hands under her arms and lifted her high into the air with a twirl. The little girl giggled loudly as her father spun her high in the air.

As she was set to the ground she sat on the grass which nearly covered her small figure. Her dad sat next to her, stroking her soft hair gently. The little girl picked at the daisies around her, slowly creating them into a necklace or headband. “Papa?” The older man opened his eyes, glancing down at his daughter through his glasses. “Yes darling?” The little girl gave her father a sad smile. “When will mama come home?” He flinched visibly at the question but forced a smile. She was only curious after all.

“Your mom… She’s in heaven now. Heaven needed another angel to watch over the world.” The little girl looked to the ground sadly. “And? Why did they have to take my mommy?” Her father bit his lip. “Why my mommy? I want her back!” The little girl had tears pooling in her eyes as she fixed up the flower chain. The man sighed deeply, the memories of his late wife swirling in his mind. “Because she was special. You don’t want other kids to lose their mommies too, right?” The little girl shook her head. “See? Your mommy decided to save those kids and let them keep their mommies. She knew you were a big strong girl.”

The little girl nodded with a sad smile. A thick silence hung in the air as the girl looked to the heavens. “Daddy? Can we visit mama?” This took him by surprise. He smiled gently at his daughter and nodded. “Yeah, we can visit mommy.” He planted a kiss on her head before holding her close, the both of them letting a few tears leak out.

“I miss you mommy”

Eyes widening in shock, (Name) sat up and looked around the room. Her eyes scanned everything wildly until her eyes landed on a sleeping figure. Her heart pounded in her chest as she swallowed her fear. She laid back in the soft bed, the dream confusing her greatly. Who were they?

She looked back over to the brown haired male, a small smile appearing on her face. He almost looked nice asleep. He didn’t look terrifying at least. His eyes opened slowly, a small bit of light coming from them. He lifted his head to look at the woman before him. “You’re awake?” He almost seemed shocked to find she was awake. “Of course, why wouldn’t I be?” His lips pressed together in a line. “Because you’ve been asleep for a week.” You could hear the snorting of the Zombie Pigmen outside due to the quietness of the room.

“Excuse me?” (Name) sat in shock, not believing what he had just said. Herobrine nodded, his usual smirk slowly creeping onto his face. “Don’t believe me? Well, ask Drew himself, he’s been freaking out the most.” (Name) almost giggled to herself at the thought of seeing Drew’s large figure running around like a headless chicken. “Nice thought.” She blinked at him as he chuckled to himself. “The thought you just had, it would be funny seeing him running around worried.” (Name) let herself smile at the man.

“What’re we supposed to do?!” Blue snapped at the miner. “Exactly what we should, get ready to go save her from him.” Blue almost choked on her drink, a milk mustache on her upper lip. “We need to find diamond, enchant it, and find her in his castle.” Steve ground his teeth together at the thought of him taking (Name) from him. Steve stood up, knocking the chair away as he strode to the chests. “Where are your pickaxes and food?” Steve continued to look through the chests, getting annoyed as he searched through each chest. “Blue!” The girl jumped in surprise by his outburst, looking at him in confusion. “Yes? What is it?” Steve sighed at her in annoyance.

“Did you not hear me at all?” She shook her head. “I didn’t hear you, but I have something to ask.” Steve stared at her, waiting for her reply. “Do you think that maybe… Maybe (Name) is like me?” Steve held his breath, the room falling uncomfortably silent. “What…? Like… like a player??” Steve felt his heart race. What if she was?

“Yeah, like, she not stuck like me, but she’s a player that can’t die.” Steve felt faint. (Name)? Being unable to respawn if she died? What if he killed her and then they would never see her again? “She’s not, I know she isn’t. We’ll save her.”

Blue bit her lip and looked out her window. “But what if she is a player? And we’re already too late?” Steve let himself fall to the floor, his back to a chest. “She… she can’t be… It’s impossible… Right?”
